1. Repair Warranty
RTC Small Engines stands behind workmanship on approved repairs. Any warranty period or coverage may vary depending on the repair type, parts used, equipment condition, and the final invoice notes.
2. What May Be Covered
Warranty coverage may apply to the specific repair performed and parts installed by RTC Small Engines when the failure is directly related to that repair and occurs within the stated warranty period.
3. What Is Not Covered
- Unrelated failures or new issues.
- Old fuel, contaminated fuel, water in fuel, or improper fuel mixtures.
- Misuse, abuse, impact damage, overheating, lack of oil, neglect, or improper storage.
- Customer-supplied parts unless specifically approved in writing.
- Commercial wear items such as blades, belts, filters, spark plugs, tires, cables, chains, and normal maintenance items unless stated otherwise.
4. Customer-Supplied Parts
If RTC Small Engines agrees to install customer-supplied parts, warranty coverage may be limited to labor only or excluded entirely depending on the situation.
5. Used Equipment Sales
Used equipment may be sold as-is unless a written warranty is specifically included on the bill of sale or invoice. Any included warranty must be documented in writing.
6. Warranty Process
Customers must contact RTC Small Engines before attempting outside repairs if they believe a warranty issue exists. Unauthorized repairs or modifications may void warranty consideration.
