1. Authorization to Inspect and Diagnose
By submitting equipment to RTC Small Engines, you authorize us to inspect, test, diagnose, photograph, and evaluate the equipment to determine possible repair needs.
2. Estimates and Approval
RTC Small Engines may provide an estimate before performing major repair work. Estimates are based on visible or known issues at the time and may change if additional problems are discovered. Work may be paused until approval is received.
3. Customer Responsibility
You confirm that you are the owner or authorized representative of the equipment. You are responsible for providing accurate information about symptoms, prior repairs, fuel condition, known damage, and safety concerns.
4. Existing Damage and Condition
Used, worn, damaged, neglected, or previously repaired equipment may have hidden problems. RTC Small Engines is not responsible for pre-existing damage, unrelated failures, cosmetic condition, old fuel damage, corrosion, missing parts, or issues discovered during repair.
5. Parts and Supplies
You authorize RTC Small Engines to source parts, supplies, and materials as needed for approved work. Parts availability, supplier delays, shipping delays, and discontinued parts may affect completion time.
6. Payment Before Release
All invoices must be paid before repaired equipment is released unless RTC Small Engines agrees otherwise in writing. Equipment may be held until balances are paid in full.
7. Storage and Abandoned Equipment
Equipment not picked up after notice of completion may be subject to storage fees and the Abandoned Equipment Policy.
8. Communication Consent
You authorize RTC Small Engines to contact you by phone, email, text message, or customer portal updates regarding diagnosis, approvals, invoices, pickup, and repair status.
